Do you offer any sort of certification?
NO. We do not offer any degree or certification of any kind. All of our services are centered around personal and professional development. Helping you gain specific skills that you wish to learn and will hopefully help you achieve your personal ambitions. These skills help you become more marketable. But the skills don’t guarantee a degree or employment.
Will I get a job after working with you?
We can not offer any guarantees in terms of employment or professional success. We can help you improve your animation skills, polish your resume, demo reel, and offer you networking advice. Ultimately though, finding work comes down to luck and persistence. Ultimately though, this is a personal journey all of us have to undertake in our careers.
What program should I use?
The animation industry for several years now has predominately used Autodesk Maya for their animation pipelines. If your goal is to work in the animation industry professionally, it would be a good idea to learn how to animate with Maya. However animation can be done on several different pieces of animation software. If you are happily working in a different program, we will gladly give you feedback on your animation, but may be less helpful dealing with the technical aspects of your work.
Best practices for submitting work?
For the most efficient review structure we use syncsketch.com as our platform of choice. make a sync sketch account, upload your work, and send us the link when you sign up for a review. Please note there are important settings on sync sketch that need to be adjusted before submitting work. For details see our guide here.
Do you offer refunds? How do they work?
If you order a pre-recorded review and decide to cancel it before we deliver our review to you. We will cancel the order and give a refund. If you want a refund after we deliver our review, we wont be able to oblige your refund request. If you don’t like our review or our suggestions, that is unfortunate. However we still took the time to give you good faith advice and can’t offer a refund at that time.
If you order a live in person review. You have up until 24 hours before the scheduled review time to cancel the review, no charge. Again we don’t offer refunds after a review is already done.
